This is the 3rd of my series designing dresses for ponies with a flower theme. I picked the flowers based on the flora's meaning closest to The Mane Six's Elements of Harmony, with keeping what colors suited each pony best in mind.

 Rainbow Dash's Element is Loyalty, so her dress is based on the Sunflower.   In the language of flowers, sunflowers represent loyalty, happiness, adoration and longevity. Very tempting to reserve this flower for a certain Princess of the sun   , but those are traits that suit Dashie too, and sunflowers have always felt tomboyish to me. Like with AJ, it's hard to design a dress for a tomboyish pony, but I think I was a little more successful with this design.
Also, Hiccup's hair in the new HTTYD   movie gave me the idea for the little braids in Dashie's mane & tail. Yay inspiration!
