WF pastel1

This was part of my illustrative pictures for my color and design class. I really liked the idea of a baby sailing on the ocean in a shell, so the life cycle of a "Water Faery" began. It's interesting to think of the idea of a faery going through different elements as it grows older. Or maybe all faeries start out in the sea. Just some fun ideas to play with.

This is the second draft of this picture I went through. (one of my favorites too!)
